Movie Making
Over the next couple of weeks we will be taking a break from working on our newspaper wiki and start the movie making process. I want to know your ideas for movies that you and your peers can make. The movie needs to be educational in nature-maybe a movie about issues teenagers face in life or at school. Maybe make a movie about a world issue. Maybe a documentary type film. The possibilities are endless!

ONE MOVIE THAT I THINK WOULD BE A SUCCESS WOULD BE A TEENAGER ISSUE THAT WE ALL HAVE TO FACE WHICH IS WHEN A TEENAGER WOULD BE ASK TO DO DRUGS ALSO NONE ASA PEER PRESURE.
i think it should be a funny educational show,like bill nye the scinece guy sort of,so its entertaining and u learn from it
I think we should do a movie about schoolwork. I know alot of people in this school who have bad grades simply because they don't do their homework, or because they just don't try. The movie should show people what happens if you fall behind in your grades, and how it can effect your life later on.
I think that a movie about things that teens face in middle school would make a good movie. We could act out thse things and really show and teach what it's like to go through these things. A documentary might be pretty good but I'm not familiar with documentarys.
My movie will be a funny one. people will laugh their guts out when they see my movie. I will publish it and send it to Hollywood And make a fortune.
I think the movie should be something related to our school maybe we could follow a teracher around and see what their day is like. we could interview them.
Yeah, making a movie would be alot of fun, but i wanna work in groups. Like 4 people to a group and we get to pick who's in it. That would be fun, and we could do it on issues at school or something.

I think we should do something that would really impact students, taking pictures would be fun. It would be awesome to have a professional photographer teach us some techniques and tips.
We could make a movie about makind good friends,about peer presure or aboutsportsmanship,friendliness,or respect.
We could make a movie about someone asking this little kid for drugs, and the little kid says "Yes" to the drugs and we could show what happens to you after you take the drug.
We need to make a movie about the war in Iraq just about a family that has to live with their dad and son in the war.

I think we could do movies about technology since we are into the 21st century technology. We could even do a movie about the Holocaust and Hitler or about the kids at our school and what we do everyday with choices and problems. We could do a movie on dancers and their hard work in dancing.
I could do some sort of puppet show-educational thing with LAMB CHOP!!! or maybe some sort of movie with how teens face others using some sort of puppet....oh! or some sort of educational PUPPET SHOW!!! (i like Jim Henson lol)
I think that we should do movies on what teenagers like to do and what they don't like to do. Also I think that we need to talk about world news and local news. We can talk about things kids need to watch out for when comming to the middle school.
A good idea for making a movie about teenagers' lives in school is something that has to deal with bullies. Bullies is something that a lot of kids have trouble with at school these days. This would help encourage people from becoming bullies and help kids that get bullied know how to face them.
We could make a movie about good sportsmanship and show little clips about waht you should do and what you should not do.
It could be a movie about how to help the community or how to help other people who need more help than others. For say little kids things like: Don't put your mouth on the water fountain or don't talk to strangers.
A couple of possiblities could be...
We could look into the life of a student in school.
We could look into how they make food in the lunchroom.
We could do a documentary that is on sports.
We could make a movie on advice like to not talk to strangers.
I think we should do something about the whole abortion march and get diffrent kids oppions about if abortion is wrong or not. Also, we should do something about all the new fashion at school. There are alot of cool things. One more video that we could do, is make a movie for little kids at paine telling them the right way to act, like being nice to others.

I think the movie could about a type of peer preasure. Everyone has or will face them. You could also do a movie for little kids. If you did do that it could be about teasing people or calling them names.

how we get blamed for things because we are the youngest .we should get the same respect that everyone else gets.
I think that we should make a movie for the 5th graders about the middle school. It could show how we change classes and when we eat lunch. I think that we should do this because a lot of the kids in the 5th grade will be scared to come to the middle school and with this video it could help them.
AN IDEA FOR OUR MOVIE COULD BE LIFE CHOICES THAT EVERY KID HAS TO GO THROUGH. YOU COULD ALSO DO A FILM ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE WORLD. ANOTHER IDEA IS THAT YOU COULD DO CHARACTER TRAITS. WE COULD ALSO MAKE MOVIES FOR LITTLE KIDS. WE WOULD SHOW THEM HOW NOT TO GET IN THE CAR WITH STRANGRS OR GO ANYWHERE WITH A PERSON THEY DON'T KNOW.
I think im am gonna do a sports movie about good sportsmanship, not taking steriods, and having agood attitude when you loose
I think that we could make movies on how to stay out of drama or about teenagers in drama. We could also make movies on how to be safe at the mall, movies, or any other places you might go with your friends. Do kids hve to much homework would be a good topoc I think. How to have school pride even when we loose the game.

I think that it would be fun to make a movie. The idea that I was thinking was how to be safe at all times no matter were you are. Also how well do you actually know what is happening around you.
We could also make a movie about eating disorders. Eating disorders are a major disease right now because a lot of teens feel that to fit in, they need to be a teeny tiny size. We could talk about/ act out what would happen to you if you began bulimia or anorexia.

How about a video to help new students learn about HTMS? How about something that would help next year's 6th graders?
