The podcast was about discussions of photosynthesis, the difference between angiosperms and gymnosperms and a segment on adding integers. The average time of a segment is from 7- 14 minutes with music. The article characterizes teachers by telling us about how they have been usng Podcasts for years. By producing a Podcast instead of the textb.would be better because some textbooks are really old and some don't make any sense. If we used the Podcasts today, they would help us understand better about what we were learning about. Podcasts could be useful for absent students so they could check the Podcasts that they did the day they were gone, and they could still learn the things that the other students learned while they were out.

The podcast was about photosynthesis, difference between angiosperms ,and gymnosperms.
The averge time that it runs is from 7 to 14 minutes.
The article says that podcasting scares most teachers away by the idea of using podcasting.
Doing a podcast is better then a textbook because you are not just reading all day you get to listen to something and some students learn better by listening then reading something.
Podcasting is better for absent students becasue they can listen to the lesson on-line and find it on the computer so they can listen at home and not fall behinde the day they come back.

It is about how you can use a podcast to teach students instead of having to read something out of a book. It is about 7 to 14 minutes. It shows that they enjoy using podcasts and that they think it is easier. Because students would get to see and hear what it means instead of reading out of textbook and getting confused because they don't understand some of the big words or just don't get it. It would be useful for an absent student because they could just watch the podcast when they are absent instead of having to go back to school and find someone to copy notes from.

1) It was about a summary of a mealworm's metamorphosis, strategies on improving memory and making studying easier and a story about a classroom candy thief.

2) The podcast can be running 7 to 14 minutes.

3) One teacher from Nauset Public Schools in Orleans, Mass., said one goal of her podcasts is to persuade teachers "how easy it is to produce one." Another teacher has used it for short interviews.

4)It might be better than learning out opf a text book because it would be more visual. Kids love to watch TV, so they would ce learning and doing something they like. Plus it is a different way of learning. If kids do not like reading out of the text book then they might get more of this.

5) It would be eisier to access from home than having make-up work the next day. When a child is sick they can see what they learned about at school and know what is going on the next day.

5. A teacher could put it on a website and then the kids could pull it up.

The students did a podcast about mealworms and the metamorphosis and stages of memory they go through. Each podcast by "Coulee Kids" is usually 7-14 minutes long and they even add introductory music. The teachers currentlu using the podcasting have been an early adopter of technology and they know how to use it. Producing podcasts can be better than textbooks because the technology they use to do podcasting. Using fun things like an Ipod and computers make learning more interesting. If a student is absent, they can hear the podcast of the notes taken that day and catch up on homework.

The podcast is about photosynthesis, and the diffrence between angiosperms and gymnosperms. The time of the segment is about 7-14 minutes, with music. The article basically talks all about the teachers using podcasts. These teachers have been using podcasts for years. They use podcasts, instead of textbook. Textbooks use up alot more paper, and podcasts are pretty much easier to use. If you are absent, you dont have to worry about not having your book, you can just use the Podcast. It is alot cooler also. In my opinion I think HTMS should switch to podcasts.

The podcast was about the metamorphesis of a meal worm to a beetle. Then podcast took about 7 to 15 minuites to go from start to finish. The article characterizes the teachers by showing us that teachers are starting to use more advanced tecnology than just a laptop and a projector. I think its better because it is more interactive than reading out5 of a book. Because thay can just go on the internet and go to there teachers website and listen to the theings the teacher taught them the day they were out.

The podcast was about photosynthesis, the difference between gymnosperms and angiosperms, and a segment was on adding integers.

The time was 7-14, and it included intraductory music.

Teachers are using podcasts because it is more exciting than just giving a grade for a paper.

Podcasts are a lot better than textbooks because some books are ripped or torn, or they are outdated.

Podcasts would be great for students who weren't at school because they can listen to it and see what they missed.
