My culture painted a picture of me by showing my friends and classmates who I am. My culture would be Christanity, Baptist, Welsh, and English. I found that I have more confidence for myself then I had. I used to hide everything but now I have shown everyone about me and still will. My future educational goal is to attend Auburn University and major in American history and minor in english. I hope to be an American history teacher. Technology has helped my personal exploration by helping me find poems, song lyrics, pictures, and expressing my culture through powerpoint. I chose my images, music, and poetry because they express how I am. My images were pictures of my friends, things I enjoy doing, and my beliefs. My music was christian music because I am a christian. Christian music always makes me feel good inside. The poem I chose was all about friendship because my friends are real important to me. I put on my project pictures and music.Those are two big things in my life too.My culture has very many things about it! My choices of my images, music, and poetry show you that I like to listen to loud music, my pictures show you that I like to watch my brother play Baseball, and my poetry tells you a little about who I am. My culture mainly revolves around two thing, my family, and my relationship with God. I found out that I am very different from evryone in my class and that at the same time I'm like most of them. For example almost everybody here shares the same religion, we are Chistians. I hope that I do well in school, and even though I would like to make all A's I would be fine with A's, B's, and a couple of C's. Technology helped in three major ways. One thing it did was let me atcually do this project, because this project was a powerpoint. The second way it helped was by allowing me to get pictures that I needed off of the internet. The third and final thing that it helped me with was letting me take pictures with my digtal camera, and allowing me to put them on the computer.
The choices I made show that I like to relax, goof off, and to listen to music. My culture is I go to school every week day, go to church (catholic) on Sundays, and the rest of the time includes sleeping, eating, relaxing and having fun with my siblings. I never realized that playing would be a part of my culture. My goals for the future are to go to West Point to get a degree on Weapon mechanics. Before I get to college, though, I need to make good grades so I can get to the college I want, West Point. It helped by taking digital pictures of things I like to do, searching for the music I like to listen to on the internet, and making my powerpoint for the project helped show my culture to others.
These pictures I've chosen represents me because this is how I live and adapt to my life. My culture is simply going to church and worshipping God. I found out that my culture is not like others in ways. I found out there is alot of differences in me and how other people chooses the way they live their culture. My goals for the future so far, is trying to be a major league baseball player. This is my favorite sport, and I feel that I must follow my dream. My assignment showed that I love spending time with my freinds, and listening to rap and alternative music. It showed that I'm a babtist christian. My choices tell that I love to sleep and eat. I like joking around with my freinds, making up random songs, and competing to see who can come up with the most random word or punchline yet. While doing the culture defined by art project, I believe that My images, poetry and music paint a picture of my life because I covered all sides of myself. I learned from Mrs. Speaker more about music, which lead me down the path to enjoying Rock. Before this, I liked Danny Elfman and that was it!

Work at disney. Play Guitar.
How did technology help me?
I have allowed my dreams to come true by using animation software.
Now, am able to animate movies, games, and website with my software.
I think the music to my project represented my Latin heritage. I didn't really find a poem that described me, so I chose one about ducks. The images represent my favorite things, people, and hobbies. My culture is very unusual, my family stresses education and values while I am always outgoing with friends, I have creative hobbies such as knitting and drawing/painting. I wasn't surprised with my project at the end, because I've figured out who I am, and I'm proud of everything I am. My educational goals for the future are to go to college, hopefully something like my brother's college, Swarthmore in Philadelphia. I don't want to limit myself to just one career, I want to do something with science, social studies, reading, and creativity, which are my favorite subjects, and hopefully one day change the world. I was already sure of who I was, but the technology really helped me put it all together to make an interactive presentation of who I am.
My images explain me like the nebulas that look like an eye of god who is watching me. The music I choose is soft metal because, if you actually listen tho it, it has a point. My background is just plain blue, red, and orange. These things I think define me. My culture is actually kind of vivide.
I like baseball and basketball, so I tried to base my project on those. I'm not a big fan of poetry at all... I don't think it has much meaning, to others, it means a ton, but I guess I just can't read it like they can. I just got lucky enough to find a decent poem about baseball on ChannelOne.
I like rap and rock music, so that kind of gives me the baseball look I guess. My culture is pretty much about music, technology (I LOVE TO I.M. PEOPLE) and sports, and when I looked over the project, I found out that I'm a bigger sports fanatic that I thought I was. I still try to keep some academics in though, since I'm planning to grow up, head to college (Hopefully UAB), and become a veterinarian.
Technology helped me a bunch. If Photostory 3 wasn't here, we'd have to go with powerpoint, which doesn't have the features that Photostory 3 has.

Culture Defined By Art!!!
My pictures told who I was by telling what I do for instance I cheer for High Fly All-Stars so I inserted a picture of our logo to say that I cheer for High Fly All-stars. I also added a picture of the track because I am also a runner I run both Cross Country and Track & Field. The Picture of the two girls , Whitney and Heather, and then the picture of Kylie represtented friends. On the smiley face before the pictures that represnetated friends said, "Friends mean the worl to me" that was suppose to say that I am usually a happy person, smiling, and that I love my friends like you will more than you will ever know. I had a picture of the sign in the front of HTMS school and the face of the Husky telling about were I attend school and that I love it there. I had three other pictures two of the American Flag and the other of Jesus Christ, my savior. My music represents me because I am am a Christian and that song, Who Am I, talks about Jesus Crist. My poem was about firends and I have already said that they mean the world to me and that I love them more you than you could ever know. My culture is... I am a sister, a friend, a daughter, a cousin, a grand daughter, and many more things. I love hanging out with my friends and just having fun. I also am a athlete i love to both run and cheer. I found out that there is more to me than just who I am but what do I do and how I reflect Jesus Christ to the world. -- My choices showed how I am always happy and having fun. For example, my poem was "Smile." I love to smile, laugh, and have fun! Some of my pictures included friends, technology, and school. Those are some of the main things in my life right now. I also used different colors in my slides because boring, plain things are the exact opposite of how I am.

My culture painted a picture of me by showing my teacher and friends/classmates of who I am and detail on throughout my life. My culture is that I believe in Jesus Christ and that he made made everyone different than everybody else ,but not only to treat each other as you are equal to them. My culture painted a picture of me and my culture!!! I chose the song called I am Living In Fast Foward by:Kenney Chesney because it is a great song that I really like!!!! My culture is about me and my familie's traditions on holiday's. I found out that my culture is better than I thought before I did this project. My educational goals in live is to attend Auburn university only because I want to be a dentist or Phamarcy manager over stores in alabama. She told even though you go for alabama Auburn has a better education for those two jobs. My technology helped me a lot in life!!!!!!! I really enjoyed my project and hope to do a similiar one!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't learn anything about myself that i didn't already know. My educational goals are to attend Duke univrsity and major in astrology to work at NASA. My culture painted a picture of me by showing some of the things included in my life. My culture would be: family, friends, church, school, activities, music, and the food that I like to eat. What I found out about myself is that I am a little different than most of the people in my class, and that I should not be fearful of letting people know about me. I would like to major in sports and medicane or in orthipedics and minor in physical therapy. I was able to express the things about me through song bites, voice recording and other things.

I play football,baseball, and I wrestle.The second biggest part of my culture is going to school.I found out that I had more about me than what i thought.I learned that I am unique.My goals are to graduate from Auburn University with my vetinarian degree,and join the military and become a commander. i think the images would be skate boards because i love to skate board. my favorite piece of poetry was by Jim Rohn: "live big dont stop be small but stand tall always try and you will never fall." I love country, but i hate rap, and it really depends in what kind of mood im in. my culture really is just like anyone elses except im just misunderstood alot. i found out that what i really wanted to do in the near future is that i would like to follow in my older brothers footsteps and keep and open mind on becomeing a soildire for the us marines. i found out that i always think negative before positive. technology helped me understand how to keep track of certainthings, like two years ago i took a 1 year cemenar on how to become an computer technology engenier for the us marine group 360 spin, they are enginears for f16 fighter jets.
My Culture By Art powerpoint showed who I am and what I like to do. It told people who I don't know very well about me. My pictures showed my house, my dog, and my friends. These show who I am in very many ways. My music was Waiting on the World to Change because a lot of the thoughts and veiws expressed in that song fit mine. My poem talked about friends and how they are always there. I chose this poem because friends are very important to me. My culture would be: family, friends, activities, technology, and food. I found that I am different from everyone in my class in several ways, but I also found out that many people in my class like the same things I do. My educational goals for the future are to leep making good grades throughout the rest of my years at school and through college. On my presentation I had put pictures of my friends, The Statue of Liberty, but also art around the school. As for my music I put my song on there becuase I like that kind of music and that band.[The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus]. My poem was about school and how u need to be on time to everything. Well because this is a computer lab and I could not live without them. But also I walk in with friends, I have many friends so thay are a main part of my culture. My culture are being a Christian ,and my Traditions. I have more confidence in my self. To go to the University Of Auburn ,or Michigan. I could get my pictures on there ,but also i could take pictures.

In my project I basically painted a picture of my self in couple way. My art portion showed who I am because it showed some of the things in nature I love and some thing I think look very cool. My poem described me perfectly by talking about how Christians were God's computer. My song lyrics also defined some of my beliefs and wishes. The entire project hopefully showed that my culture is fore the most part a teenage Christian girl who loves being with her friends and sees the world through her own eyes. I found out that I am unique and I was made that way for a reason no matter what people say. My educational goals are for sure to go to a very good collage such as Harvard and most likely to get in to a good law school however I am only 13 so who knows what I will end up doing. Technology helped me in my personal exploration by showing me different view points of people. Without Technology I would most likely never meet talk to or read about any of the people's view points that I have had the privilege to see.
